Cool Wheels

This vintage bike is parked outside the old Spark's Grocery Store across the street from Capshaw School in Cookeville, Tennessee. (It's spray painted red--even the tires.) I used to have a bike just like this when I was about eight years old. I guess that makes me vintage, too.

Along for the ride

After church, we hopped in my car and raced to Chilies to eat. Pa sat in the back seat.

Buddy The Cat

When I'm in Cookeville for the weekend, Buddy usually sleeps at the foot of my bed. I took this picture just before he tapped out for the night.

Spark's Grocery

Spark's Grocery is a small store across the street from Capshaw School and a hop skip from our house. All the neighborhood kids would walk there to buy Garbage Pail Kids cards and candy. My mom did too when she was a youngster.

View from a window

This creepy view is from inside a house that a 100 year old woman lived in until she died recently. It's up for auction... I'd love to buy it but I'd rather not share a house with a ghost.

Twilight DVD

Kelly took this of my 3-disc Twilight DVD that finally came in from Target today. Vampire boyfriend looks good in the negative.
