Button

My sister Ann took this pic of our sister-in-law's Maltese, Angel Button. Button is a sweet cuddly lovable little fur ball. The negative color setting transformed her normally snow white fur into these awesome shades of green and gold. So cool! Thanks for sharing, Ann!

Attack of the Plastic Dinosaurs!

My grand daughter loved dinosaurs when she was a toddler and still knows all the names. Grand son is slowly showing some interest, too. T Rex rules! It's still my favorite.

Krispy Kreme!!!

Krispy Kreme just opened a new store just a few miles from our house!
Now we can enjoy yummy glazed doughnuts when the HOT sign is on!!!

More Random

Our house.

Kerry and I enjoyed the nice weather today!

Kerry found a bird's nest in the cherry tree out front.

I don't think these trees exist after the tornardo last Friday.
Stones River Battlefield was hit pretty hard. Lots of old trees gone.

My cat, Bitsy, in her favorite spot upstairs.

Nobody's Home

I looked up the village located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and here is a link: http://www.rutherfordchamber.org/cvb/visitors/what-to-see/what-to-see-detail.php?PRKey=4 Murfreesboro was originally named Cannonsburgh back in the day and Cannonsburgh Village is a reconstructed Southern village. We just happened to end up there last Saturday while we were searching for Evergreen Cemetery and we enjoyed walking through the village.

Here is the church and here is the steeple....

My son-in-law Kerry's sister was married in this church which is a part of the "pioneer village" in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Beautiful place for a wedding.

Fenced In

Detail of a fence in a "pioneer village" in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I wish I could remember the name of that cool place. When I find out, I'll post it. Lots of log buildings and preserved structures of historical significance to the Rutherford County area.

Ghostly Childhood Images

Grandson Elijah is one of my favorite subjects to photograph in the negative or in any other cell phone color setting. The rocking chair was given to my kids by their grandparents when they were little. The teddy bear in the girl's arms is from a collectible plate. Ghostly!

Stones River Battlefield

24,000 Civil War soldiers died on these fieids in three days. My great, great, great grandfather was shot on the last day and later died of his wounds. He's buried in a mass grave at Evergreen Cemetery in Murfreesboro, TN. I drive through this battlefield almost everyday but this time I stopped in with my parents and we spent the day touring the sites. Awesome place!

We ate lunch at Panda Garden. They serve Coke in Chinese. It's the real thing in any language.

NY

My hubby is a Giants fan. He bought this helmet a couple of years ago... he just had to have it... but where is it? Upstairs in the junk pile.
