My 7 year old grandson Elijah was playing around with the photo effects on his iPad mini. This is his self-portrait in the negative. It’s one of the most nightmarish pictures I think I’ve ever seen. It’s just plain scary, don’t you think? Sweet dreams!

Thunderhead
We’ve had lots and lots of rain so far this Summer here in Middle Tennessee. Storm clouds roll in daily, it seems.

Even More Feets And Grandpeeps
My grandpeeps look pretty creepy in the negative, don’t they? [Knox was on the move in our ‘feets’ pic.]

Hands Up!
At the Nashville Flea Market this past weekend ~ doing the wave. Either that or it's a hold-up. Or asking for a hand out. Let's give them a hand.

Sarah and the Mandolin
Mandolin
— n a plucked stringed instrument related to the lute, having four pairs of strings tuned in ascending fifths stretched over a small light body with a fretted fingerboard. It is usually played with a plectrum, long notes being sustained by the tremolo
This afternoon, my niece Sarah celebrated her 17th birthday. She received this musical instrument as a gift from her parents. She has already learned some chords and played them for us. I’m looking forward to her first concert/recital.

Coming At You From The Zombie Apocalypse
Saw this at the Nashville Flea Market recently and figured it would have to be just as creepy in the negative as it was in the positive. I was right.

Got Teeth?
Saw this bizarre creature at the Nashville Flea Market today. I have no idea what it's supposed to be, but it might make a nice Halloween decoration.

Little Kids Inside Big Hamster Balls On Water

This is something you don't see every day--little kids rolling around inside huge hamster-type balls in a pool of water. And in the negative color setting, of course. Made for some strange pictures. When we were in Destin, Florida, earlier this month, Grandpeeps Shelby and Elijah had a total blast trying to run inside these things. I don't have to tell you how insane it looks and how the adults laughed themselves silly watching these kids playing in these big balls on the water. The strong wind blowing them around didn't help any, either. Good times.
